Custom integrations

An integration built around your workflow.

Tell us which systems need to work together and what should happen between them. We scope the connection, build it on the SyncSmart platform, then host and maintain it.

Built for the way IBT Apps works.

“I was spending at least two days a week focusing on data. It was the first thing I thought of every day.”

Megan Copeland, Director of Marketing, IBT Apps

From manual data work to connected sales and marketing.

IBT Apps connected Microsoft Dynamics and HubSpot with custom fields and two-way data flows shaped around its sales and marketing teams.

Start with the work, not a specification.

You do not need a specification. Bring the work your team needs done; discovery produces the decisions below.

Example discovery brief

A sale becomes an order.

A sales team wants a CRM deal to supply customer and line-item data for an ERP order.

Systems and access
Which CRM and ERP editions are involved, and which APIs and authorization paths the connection can use.
Records and matching
How the deal relates to the customer and the order, and how an existing customer is recognized.
Fields and rules
Which system owns each value, which records qualify, and what happens when a required value is missing.
Validation
Which representative records and expected results prove the workflow works before launch.

From requirements to a running connection.

One team through discovery, delivery and ongoing maintenance.

  1. Define

We work through the systems, the records, the business rules and who owns what with your team, and write it down as the scope.

  2. Build

We build and test the integration against that scope, with representative records you choose, until you sign it off.

  3. Maintain

We host it on the SyncSmart platform, watch the logs, and update it as the connected systems and your needs change.

Before we talk

What to bring, what we agree, and what happens after launch.

What should we have ready for the first call?

The names and editions of the applications, the workflow you want to connect, and the people who understand it. API documentation and a list of the records that matter help if you have them. Do not send credentials or customer records through the form.

Can a packaged integration be the starting point?

Yes. Start from its record mappings and requirements, then tell us the extra fields, records or behaviour you need. We scope the extension for that connection.

Can SyncSmart connect any application?

We review the systems and the workflow before agreeing scope. API access, authentication, the records exposed and the behaviour you need all decide the fit, and we tell you early if it is not one.

What do we agree before the build starts?

Four things: the scope (systems, record pairs, fields, directions and rules), the validation plan (representative records and expected outcomes), the launch plan (who authorizes accounts and approves the tested workflow), and ongoing ownership (hosting, support, escalation and how future changes are scoped). Service terms sit in your agreement with SyncSmart.

What happens after launch?

SyncSmart hosts, monitors and maintains the integration. You raise issues through support and scope changes with the same team that built it.

Tell us what needs to work together.

Your systems, your workflow and the result you want. We come back with the questions discovery needs and a plan for the connection.

“Now, I’m just watching data sync. I don’t have to do anything twice.” — Megan Copeland, Director of Marketing, IBT Apps
